Dexter

DexterAn ancient native Irish cattle breed. A hardy breed well suited to grazing low quality forage, readily grazing a wide range of grass species and capable of subsisting with minimal supplementary feeding. May be out wintered quite happily. A small (average weight of cow is 360 kg), docile and easy to handle dual purpose breed, which produces fine marbled beef.
