Area Descriptions
The two internationally important wildlife sites, Ingleborough Complex SAC and Craven Limestone Complex SAC which make up the Project area include eight individual Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Sites of Special Scientific Interest are the UK's most important areas for wildlife and geology. Information is available on the wildlife interest of the SSSI.
